What information do I collect?
Names, email addresses, addresses, telephone numbers, as well as job titles and places of work and, where required, photographs.
How is it collected and who by?
I collect personal data through third party media and contact databases, internet searches and websites, media publications, via social media and through direct communications. I may also be given data by my clients and the organisations that I work with.
Who will it be shared with?
I would only share your data with your explicit consent.
How I use personal data
As a journalist and PR consultant, I use data to communicate and, in particular, to communicate news, press releases and campaigns to journalists and other interested stakeholder organisations.
Data Retention Periods
I hold all data indefinitely until it is no longer relevant or necessary for me to do so. I review data and contacts on an ongoing basis so that data which is no longer required can be deleted and to identify, amend or delete inaccurate data.
How you can access, correct and update your information
To find out the information I hold about you, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also use this email address to let me know of any corrections or updates to the information I hold on you (e.g. a change of email address). I will respond to your request within 28 days.
How to lodge a complaint
If you wish to lodge a complaint in relation to my data controlling and data processing activities, please contact me in the first instance and I will do everything I can to resolve the issue.
If you are not happy with my response, please contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.
